Very easy to use.  This machine is all stainless steel, inside and out.  Pour water into the machine. Put the lid on.  The machine will will run until it is finished 1 gallon of water.  When completed the machine turns itself off, so it is safe to run this distiller before you go to bed, or before you leave the house.  This machine does not have a storage tank to catch the clean water.  We recommend getting a 1 gallon glass bottle to catch your clean water.
