Heating Element End Plate 400185

Replacement heating element end plate.  Use if your old one has been damaged. Most commonly used when replacing a older element, where the ceramic end is oblong shaped.  The old plate will match that older element.  The new elements use a ceramic end that is round shaped, so the old plate will not fit on top.  So if your replacing a older element with a new element… you NEED to order this part as well.

Commonly used on older Polar Bear Water Distillers: models 6A, 6C, 6B, 12D

 **NOTE: Gasket is not included with element – order this item separately.  It is a good idea to change the seal gasket, when the element is being replaced.

** There are two types of element gaskets that can be used with this element, depending on the model of distiller. Element Gasket is not included.

** End plate should be ordered, if replacing element of a real old machine.  The electrical end of this element is round – the real old elements were oblong, so the old plate will not work with this part, so a new plate is required.
